Between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012, the Kansas District of the Lutheran Laymen's League
solicited contributions to the
LLL Kansas District Project
fund. Between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013, the LLL Kansas
District proposed to disburse the dollars amounts for the worthy purposes
that are displayed in the following table.
2011 - 2012 LLL Kansas District Project Goals
Financial aid for Kansas District students attending an LCMS synodical school
or seminary, preparing for full-time church work.

2011 - 2012 LLL Kansas District Project Disbursement Rules
Any amount received over the goal was to be designated for additional financial aid to
Kansas District students who are preparing for full-time church work.
Should the amount of contributions received be less than $37,000, then the amounts
contributed to all categories, except financial aid to students, was to be prorated
to accommodate the shortage of contributions.
2011 - 2012 LLL Kansas District Project Report
Although the fundraising goal for the 2011 - 2012
LLL Kansas District Project was $37,000, less than $30,000 in contributions were received.
For the second consecutive year, contributions to the LLL Kansas District Project
declined significantly from the approximately $37,000 that had been received in previous
years.
The Board of Governors of the LLL Kansas District voted to
pay more than $7,000 from reserve operating funds to the 2011 - 2012 LLL Kansas District
project in order to meet the $37,000 goal.
The first half of the $26,000 budgeted for financial aid for
students studying for full time church work has been distributed. Following are other
budget items of the 2011 - 2012 LLL Kansas District Project: LHM Seminarian Dinner - $1,000,
LHM Argentina Ministries - $4,250, LHM Overseas Bible Correspondence Courses – $4,250,
LLL Rose Bowl Parade Float - $500, LLL/LWML Lutheran Family Retreat - $500, Orphan Grain Train - $500.
