Between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025, the Kansas District of the Lutheran Laymen's League
solicited contributions to the
LLL Kansas District Project
fund. Between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026, the LLL Kansas
District proposed to disburse the dollars amounts for the worthy purposes
that are displayed in the following table.

2024 - 2025 LLL Kansas District Project Disbursement Rules
|
Any amount received over the total project goal will be designated for additional financial aid to
Kansas District students who are preparing for full-time church work.
Should the total amount of the contributions received be less than $42,000, then the amount
designated for financial aid to students will be $31,500, and the amounts designated for all
other purposes will be prorated to accommodate the shortage of contributions.
Should the total amount of contributions received be greater than $42,000 but less than $50,000,
then the amount designated for financial aid to students will be reduced to accommodate
the shortage of contributions.

2024 - 2025 LLL Kansas District Project Report
|
The LLL Kansas District Project raised $48,878.80,
falling short of the $50,000 goal.
The LLL Kansas District Board of Governors voted to continue the $50,0000 goal for the 2025-2026
fiscal year. We pray that God will bless the District Project abundantly in the year to come.
Financial aid in the amount of $38,800
was granted to 11 Kansas church work students, including
one student at Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis and 9 teacher, DCE, and/or pre-seminary
candidates at Concordia universities. Another student was a Lutheran school teacher pursuing
teacher colloquy through the LCMS's online program, CUEnet. These grants are important
to keep the cost of church work education affordable and to minimize student debt.
I know that the grants were received with thanksgiving by Kansas students.
The LLL Kansas District Project is now signed up to receive Thrivent Choice Dollars.
The LLL Kansas District Project received $720 in Choice Dollar grants during the 2024-2025
fiscal year. If you have Choice Dollars to designate, please consider granting to
the "International Lutheran Laymen's League--Kansas District"
on the Thrivent Choice Dollars website.
Please prayerfully consider how you, your church, and your local groups, big and small, can
continue to support the work of the LLL Kansas District and the LLL Kansas District Project.
